Sidney Hungerford Chapman enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 27 on the 13th of October 1915. He had been born in Wangaratta, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Bank Manager. He volunteered and was stationed with the 24th Battalion, 14th Reinforcement as Regimental number 5312. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 21st of March 1919. Tree number 2565.
