Biography

Wilfred Cutts (SN 10/2914) born at Ballarat, was a 28 year old labourer when he enlisted in New Zealand on December 1st 1914. However, he was found to be physically unfit for active service and discharged on January 23rd 1915. He re-enlisted on June 16th and this time embarked aboard the Aperima on October 9th . There is no detail of his service beyond he returned to New Zealand aboard the Ruahine and was discharged medically unfit on February 3rd 1918.

His brother Robert also served in the AIF and is honoured with a tree in the Avenue.
