Wilfred Cutts enlisted in Trentham, New Zealand at the age of 28 on the 16th of June 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Hair Dresser. He volunteered and was stationed with the 7th Reserves of the New Zealand Army later transferring to the Canterbury Infantry Battalion as Regimental number 10/2914. He was Medically Discharged on the 10th of January 1918. Tree number 2613.
