Biography

Born in Warrnambool, Victoria, Claud Henderson was a single 18 year old labourer at the time of enlistment on the 28th of March 1917. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A71 Nestor on the 28th of February 1918.
On September 15th 1918, Claud was taken on strength with the 5th Pioneers Battalion.
He returned to Australia on the 1st of September 1919 and was discharged due to being demobilised on the 14th of June 1920.
