Biography

Born in Ballarat, Victoria and a Clergyman by occupation, Frederick Charles Louis Bremer was 31 years and married when enlisted on the 11th of May 1917 in the Chaplains' Corps, Australian Imperial Force, with the rank of Chaplain (4th Class) and was listed as returned to Australia on the 29th of May 1919. His Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A11 'Ascanius' on the 11th of May 1917. Embarked for return to Australia per 'Rio Negro' ex England on the 29th of May 1919 and disembarked at Melbourne on the 22nd of July 1919. Appointment terminated on the 21st of August 1919.
