Biography

Born in Beaufort, William Lansell Hall was a married 33 year old labourer at the time of his enlistment in Ballarat on the 21st of September 1914. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A32 Themistocles on the 22nd of December 1914.
He returned to Australia per the ship Ulysses on the 15th of April 1915 and was discharged as medically unfit on the 29th of April 1915 due to hydrocele and varicose veins.
