Biography

Edward Marstin was a married 34 year old motor mechanic at the time of his enlistment on the 9th of September 1916. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A34 Persic on the 22nd of December 1916.
On the 30th of July 1917, Edward was appointed Lance Corporal, and then was promoted to Corporal on the 8th of August 1918.
He returned to Australia on the 2nd of July 1919, and was discharged on the 30th of September 1919.
