Biography

Born in Ballarat, Thomas Henry Halse was a married 41 year old blacksmith when he enlisted on the 15th of January 1917. His unit embarked from Fremantle, Western Australia, on board HMAT A28 Miltiades on the 29th of January 1917.
On January 19th 1917, he was promoted to Lance Corporal Blacksmith.
Thomas returned to Australia on the 28th of May 1919 and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 27th of June 1919.
