Henry Ernest O'Rourke enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 23 on the 1st of May 1917. He had been born in Brim, Victoria was single, and was employed as a Munitions Worker. He was drafted to the Special Draft Signal Service, and was later stationed with the 2nd Signal Squadron Australian Mounted Division with the Regimental number 19269. He died of disease on the 18th of October 1918 . He is buried in the Damascus British War Cemetery (Row D, Grave number 29).Tree number 2968.
