Jarvis Bunting Fuller (SN 6994) was born in Ballarat and attended the Mt. Pleasant State School. He was a 21 year old rope machinist when he enlisted in Footscray on October 17th 1916. He was posted to the 7th Infantry Battalion and left Australia aboard the Hororata in November bound for the Western Front. He was killed in action on October 4th 1917 at Polygon Wood and is buried in the Buttes New British Cemetery in Belgium. He was 22 years of age.
His brother Mark also served in the AIF and is honoured with a tree in the Avenue.
