Biography

Matthew Randall Wasley was born in Ballarat and enlisted in South Yarra as a law student on 17th August 1914. He was 21 year old and single. He joined the 6th Infantry battalion, with Regimental No. 262. During his service he was promoted to Lance Corporal. On 25th April 1915 he was killed in action during the Landing at Anzac Cove, and is buried in the Lone Pine Cemetery, Gallipoli, Turkey.
