Born in Ararat, Victoria, David Kent was a single 23 year old farmer at the time of his enlistment on the 16th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A40 Ceramic on the 23rd of November 1915.
David returned to Australia on the 26th of August 1919 and was discharged on the 13th of January 1920.
