William Patrick Bergin was born in Ballarat, Victoria, was married and was employed as a Waiter. He enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 26. He volunteered and was stationed with the 29th Battalion, B Company with the Regimental number 472. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 28th of March 1919. Tree number 3369.
