George Henry Morrell was a married 29 year old saddler at the time of his enlistment on the 11th of November 1914. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A14 Euripides on the 10th of May 1915.
On the 17th of October 1917, George was promoted to Second Lieutenant. He was then promoted to Lieutenant on the 26th of January 1918.
George returned to Australia on the 10th of March 1919, and was discharged on the 9th of March 1919 due to demobilisation.
