Born in Narrandera, New South Wales, Percival David Jones was a single 21 year old clerk at the time of his enlistment in Ballarat on the 26th of April 1918. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A37 Barambah on the 31st of August 1918.
On the 10th of September 1919 Percival returned to Australia and was discharged on the 25th of September 1919 due to demobilisation.
