Francis Edward Feild was born in Murtoa, Victoria was married and was employed as a Motor Car Proprietor. He enlisted in Rockhampton, Queensland at the age of 31. He volunteered and was stationed with the Australian Flying Corps later transferring to the Australian Infantry Forces Headquarters with the Regimental number 2023. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 22nd of September 1919. Tree number 3817.
His brother Gustav also served in the AIF and is honoured with a tree in the Avenue.
