Biography

Hector Thomas McCraw, a Ballarat-born Clergyman, enlisted in the 2nd Divisional Signal Company, 10th Reinforcement as a Sapper on 8th of December 1915. The unit embarked from Melbourne aboard the HMAT A38 Ulysses on the 1st June 1916. Hector would later find his way into the 1st Divisional Signal Company as a 2nd Lieutenant.

He returned to Australia on the 26th of July 1919.
