Biography

George Arnold Gates was born in Ballarat, Victoria was single and was employed as a Butcher. He enlisted in Ballarat, Victoria at the age of 18. He volunteered and was stationed with the 14th Battalion, 6th Reinforcement with the Regimental number 2146. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 29th of December 1916. Tree number 401.
