Albert Victor Fitzgerald was born in Ballarat, Victoria was single and was employed as a Lithographer. He enlisted in Sydney, New South Wales at the age of 24. He volunteered and was stationed with the 1st Division Ammunition Column later transferring to the 3rd Field Artillery Brigade with the Regimental number 2477. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 9th of March 1919. Tree number 539.
