Henry Charles Overall (SN 1338) , born in Ballarat, was 22 when he enlisted on May 10th 1915. He was serving in Melbourne as a gunner with the Royal Australian Garrison Artillery when he became ill. He died of appendicitis on June15th 1916 and is buried in the Ballarat New Cemetery.
His brother Alfred also served in the AIF and is honoured with a tree in the Avenue.
