Leslie J. Wormald was a single 18 year old clerk at the time of his enlistment on the 6th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A64 Demosthenes on the 29th of December 1915. He returned to Australia on the 24th of September 1917 and was discharged as medically unfit on the 29th of November 1917 suffering with tuberculosis.
