Frank O'Keefe was a 19 year old painter by trade when he enlisted on the 16th of July 1915. His unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A64 Demosthenes on the 29th of December 1915.
He returned to Australia on the 8th of June 1919 and was discharged due to the termination of his enlistment period on the 1st of August 1919.
