Biography

William Mann enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 24 on the 6th of July 1915. He had been born in Daylesford, Victoria was single, and was employed as a Labourer. He volunteered and was stationed with the 8th Light Horse Regiment, 14th Reinforcement later transferring to the 11th Field Artillery Brigade with the Regimental number 1988. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 1st of May 1919. Tree number 1015.
