Leslie Eric Suares enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 22 on the 18th of August 1915. He had been born in Geelong, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Labourer. He volunteered and was stationed with the 4th Light Horse Regiment, 13th Reinforcements with the Regimental number 1946. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 2nd of March 1919. Tree number 1616.
