Biography

Allan Northcott (SN V80092), born at Dean, was a 20 year old bank officer when he enlisted on September 11th 1918. He joined the 19th General Service Reinforcements in training at Broadmeadows but the war ended before he could embark for active service. He was demobilised on Christmas Eve 1918, after 115 days of service.

His brothers Richard and John also served in the AIF and are honoured with a tree in the Avenue.
