Biography

Benjamin Carlyle Berry enlisted in Sydney, New South Wales at the age of 21 on the 22nd of August 1914. He had been born in Bendigo, Victoria, was single, and was employed as a Bank Clerk. He volunteered and was stationed with the 1st Battalion, B Company with the Regimental Number 229. He transferred to the 3rd Infantry Battalion. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 6th of July 1919. Tree No. 531.
