Joseph John Moore enlisted in Toowoomba, Queensland at the age of 24 on the 26th of August 1914. He had been born in Allendale, Victoria, was single and employed as a Cutter. He volunteered and was stationed with the 9th Battalion, D Company with the Regimental number 482. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 8th of August 1916. Tree number 657.
