Henry Francis Wilson enlisted in Melbourne, Victoria at the age of 25 on the 17th of July 1915. He had been born in Ballarat, Victoria, was single, and was employed as an Engine Driver. He volunteered and was stationed with the 14th Battalion, 12th Reinforcements later transferring to the 46th Battalion with the Regimental number 3967. He was discharged and Returned to Australia on the 5th of April 1919. Tree number 772.
His brothers Alfred and Willie also served in the AIF and are honoured with trees in the Avenue.
